LearningMethods
Modular Learning
Program

|
27 August 2011
LearningMethods Online™
— the first 2 Professional Level groups in this module for online distance
learning have been up and running for a while now. A new Post-graduate course in "Advanced
Anatomy of Wholeness" starts in September 2011.
There has been such a lot of interest
from others wanting to join that I am willing to open up at least one new group to start as soon
as we have sufficient numbers. To join a new group or get further information about the
programs or to be kept informed about new developments, contact
David at
(let me know your background and area of interest),
or get more information
here.
You can also join our
general mailing list to be notified about workshops, publications, and upcoming events.

Summary
(more details are farther down this page)
MODULAR... WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
The program is made up of a number of modules
that you can take separately or combine in various combinations
with different entry levels and different study streams (use
the links below to find out more):
• There are three overlapping approaches
or modalities:
— LearningMethods - how to investigate and solve life
problems and reactive habits
— Anatomy of Wholeness - understand your marvellous human structure/function
— Alexander Technique - uncover and change deep physical
habits and responses
• There are three study formats
(i.e. ways you can learn):
— Online Learning
- online learning from anywhere by internet and phone (already
launched)
— Intensive Learning
- extensive training sessions & workshops if you live elsewhere
or are busy
— Local Learning -
attend regular learning in person if you live locally
• There are three main entry levels:
— Personal Level
- learn about the work and how to apply it in your own life
— Professional Level
- develop your skills in your existing work, teaching, practice,
etc.
— Certification Level
- become a teacher of LearningMethods and/or Anatomy of Wholeness*
* Note: at present we are not offering
a certification program in Alexander Technique, though
the main principles of the
Alexander Technique are taught in, and infuse the learning of,
the
other approaches. It is very possible in the near future that a
combined Alexander Technique,
LearningMethods and Anatomy of Wholeness training will start —
this would be a local in-person
training program, that is, not online but meeting regularly in person...
• There is also a post-graduate level for existing LearningMethods
Teachers:
— Post-graduate Level
- professional development and advanced learning for teachers

This means you'll have the freedom to:
— study one or more of the three approaches
matched to your interests,
— enter into learning at an appropriate
level matched to your existing skills and knowledge
as well as your learning goals,
— follow your own curiosity
and learning path,
— study in your own rhythm
and at your own speed,
— study on a regular basis
if you live locally, study with us periodically
if you live elsewhere,
or study at a distance from anywhere.
The Modular Training is an ambitious multi-faceted
program and to do each part justice, it is being implemented
in stages. The first stage, which has already been launched,
is the online distance learning stream —
LearningMethods Online.
